2.) Focus on composition/comprehension (alternate weeks) with oral.
3.) In accordance with schools' emphasis, i.e., creative writing, close passages, vocabulary, proper sentence constructions.
4.) Students grouped in ability - discuss and learn in group.
5.) One month before tests/exams, will concentrate on assessment papers to help students prepare for CAs/SAs.
6.) Max class size of 10.
Intensive English and Chinese

1.) 1.5 hr per lesson, 1 lesson per week.
2.) Recommend to students requiring extra help.
3.) Back to basics, i.e. grammar, vocabulary, sentence constructions, aimed at consolidating foundation.
4.) Composition and Comprehension will be included, but lesser.
5.) Ask them to bring textbook.
6.) Max class size of 5.
Mathematics

2.) Focus on school syllabus.
3.) Students grouped in ability - discuss and learn in group - differentiated worksheets given where necessary.
4.) Teach 2 weeks in advance.
5.) During holidays, revise and study ahead of school's syllabus.
6.) Focus on problem-solving methods, not drilling of steps.
7.) Students are encouraged to inform teacher on their weak topics.
8.) Max class size of 10 (5 for intensive).
Science

English Language Proficiency Course
Advent learning conducts English Language
classes specially designed for foreign students and adults.
The Classes will focus on improving your English listening,
speaking, reading and writing skills. They will help you to gain
confidence in conversational English, enhance your grammar
proficiency and expand your vocabulary base.
